David Craig grew up in Copacabana on the Central Coast. He has been playing music for around 30 years and over that time has been with a few different bands that have sporadically played gigs around the Coast. These have included two grunge bands (Wouldland & Barium) in the earlier days, covering music from the likes of Nirvana alongside his own grunge-inspired, original songs. More recently he has joined with a blues band going by the name of ‘The Chestnuts’ who have played locally around Copacabana at private and public events including the local Carols and 5 Lands walk.

With a range of musical experiences under his belt, David has recently been enjoying the challenge of adapting songs from across these genres to an acoustic format with the view to playing some solo shows with his Cole Clark guitar. His sets will include some old blues rock and staples from the grunge days, all played with a softer unplugged style. David sees his song choices as unique from most other acoustic artists, mixing up old classics and   later pop rock hits that everyone is familiar with a foundation of alternative / grunge, that may have been on lesser rotation yet widely recognisable.
