About Jay Collie

With a career spanning major label signings, international tours, and high-profile television networks, Jacob “Jay” Collie is one of the most accomplished and versatile live performers on the circuit today. Holding a Bachelor of Creative Arts in Theatre, Jay doesn’t just play songs—he commands rooms, expertly blending world-class musical delivery with captivating stagecraft.

As a long-term signed Sony/ATV artist, Jay first made his mark on the big stage as the founder and creative force behind the award-winning band Jonah’s Road. His electric live energy landed him supporting slots for global music heavyweights, including Tim McGraw, Suzi Quatro, and Olivia Newton-John. This massive stage experience was further refined across more than two decades touring as a backing vocalist and guitarist for legendary Australian entertainer Jon English.

Jay’s elite industry reputation extends far behind the scenes. He has served as an International Musical Director for The String Angels and composed major network themes for the Nine, Seven, and Ten networks (including Australia Zoo’s Wildlife Warriors and the Royal Flying Doctors 50th Anniversary theme).

Transitioning seamlessly from grand concert halls—including a featured solo performance at the Sydney Opera House—to premier live venues, Jay possesses a massive, genre-spanning repertoire.
