Ronnie & Benni is a pop-fusion duo comprised of Surya “Ronnie” Luthikurthi and Benjamin “Benni” Peterson. Forming in 2016, the pair have been hard at work on two unreleased and upcoming LP’s, and on June 10th 2019 Ronnie & Benni are releasing their debut single “Fake Smiles”. As a duo, Ronnie and Benni have spent countless hours in search of the perfect blend of Eastern and Western culture; bringing a familiar yet fresh sound to Australian pop music.

Ronnie, on music production and composition, comes from South India. Growing up in a musical household, he soon became an accomplished Indian Carnatic Vocalist. This self taught DJ/Electronic Music producer had a bit of success in 2014 with a hit single through Roton Music with vocalist Akcent, which saw just shy of 1,000,000 views on YouTube. His love for vocals pushed Ronnie to hone his production skillset towards a pop-orientation, which can be heard on their debut single “Fake Smiles”. Ronnie is known for cross-culture experimentation when it comes to production; the listeners can look forward to some exotic eastern sounds in his work.
